Jada Pollock, Wizkid’s manager and partner, recently shared a deeply personal account of a major health scare during her ongoing pregnancy. At three months pregnant, she was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy, a procedure that posed significant risks to both her and her unborn child.
Describing the ordeal as the most terrifying experience of her life, Jada expressed heartfelt gratitude for her survival and the safety of her baby. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she reflected on the experience and emphasized the importance of cherishing life.
“At the beginning of the year, I faced the biggest fright of my life. Three months into my pregnancy, I was rushed to the hospital to have my appendix removed. Against all odds, both my baby and I made it through safely. Life is too short to be anything but grateful,” she wrote.
Jada, who is pregnant with her third child with Wizkid, first met the singer in 2012. Their relationship grew from a professional partnership into a personal one, and they share two other children, Zion (born in 2017) and another child born in 2022.
