Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has expressed confidence that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) stands as the most viable opposition capable of unseating the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
In a post shared on X, Atiku described the ADC as a party grounded in strong principles, solid structure, and determination to offer credible competition in the coming polls. He maintained that the party has evolved into Nigeria’s leading opposition force with the capacity to confront the ruling APC effectively.
The former vice-president also revealed that he recently received members of the Adamawa ADC at his Abuja residence, noting that the visit meant a great deal to him. He urged the party’s new state leadership to prioritise unity, bridge internal divisions, and ensure inclusive, fair leadership moving forward.
