Mr Latin Graduates From NOUN With BSc In Peace And Conflict Resolution

Veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, widely known as Mr Latin, has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), marking a new academic achievement in his career.

He shared the news on Saturday through his Instagram page, expressing gratitude and joy over completing his studies. Describing the moment as fulfilling, he noted that the journey had finally come to a successful end, attributing the achievement to divine assistance. He also thanked God for guiding him through the academic process up to his graduation

.Amusan, who currently serves as the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), extended appreciation to his family, friends, and supporters for their encouragement throughout his academic pursuit.

The actor resumed formal education in 2017 at NOUN after being away from school for over two decades His inability to continue university education earlier in life was due to financial challenges after completing secondary school

Born in Gbongan Osun State Amusan began his acting journey in 1988 and transitioned into comedy in 1991 where he gained wider recognition

His popular stage name Mr Latin originated during the 1992 film 50-50 when a French phrase he spoke on set was mistakenly interpreted as Latin by a producer leading to the now-famous nickname

The milestone adds to his long-standing contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry and reflects his continued commitment to personal development and lifelong learning in the arts sector generally
