Businessman and socialite Isaac Fayose has openly weighed in on the ongoing custody dispute between Sophia Momodu and Afrobeats star Davido, expressing strong criticism of Momodu’s actions.
Speaking about the highly publicized legal battle, Fayose described Momodu as “very toxic,” stating that no one would wish for such a situation. He questioned her decision to bring certain personal matters into court, particularly referencing the late child of the singer during the proceedings.

Fayose argued that while many fathers abandon their responsibilities and fail to support their children financially, Davido has consistently shown up for his daughter, Imade. According to him, the singer has continued to provide care and support despite the tension between both parties. He maintained that Davido stands out as a responsible father, especially when compared to others who avoid paying school fees or fulfilling parental duties. The businessman also expressed relief that Davido did not marry Momodu, suggesting that such a union might have negatively impacted the singer’s life and career. He advised the Adeleke family to refrain from engaging in public exchanges and instead allow the legal process to take its course.
As the custody case unfolds, reactions online remain mixed. While some social media users support Fayose’s defense of Davido, others have called for restraint, emphasizing the importance of fairness and avoiding premature judgments.
