Nigerian brand influencer Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has addressed online rumours suggesting she was pregnant before marrying Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. The 24-year-old took to Snapchat on Friday to clarify their wedding timeline, a day after the couple’s pregnancy announcement post stirred fresh speculation on Instagram.
According to Priscilla, she and Juma were already legally married before their public Nikkah ceremony, which took place on February 7 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She explained that the Nikkah was one of several events marking their union and not their first official wedding.

“Womb watchers and calculators, another confusion for you,” she wrote. “We were already married before the Nikkah we posted — that was to celebrate with friends and family.”
Their journey began with a private family introduction in 2023, followed by the Nikkah. On February 12, the couple hosted a romantic engagement dinner in Lagos, where Juma surprised Priscilla with another proposal and a new diamond ring. The celebrations continued with a Yoruba traditional ceremony and white wedding on April 17 in Lagos, where Priscilla dazzled in a Veekee James gown and Juma wore a tuxedo by Mai Atafo. The wedding festivities concluded in Tanzania on May 28, with a vibrant reception where Juma gifted Priscilla a brand-new Range Rover, capturing widespread attention on social media.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress and TV host Nancy Isime opened up about a difficult chapter in her life, revealing how Grammy-nominated singer Yemi Alade once came to her rescue during a time of homelessness. Nancy shared that at 17, she worked late-night jobs without a place to stay, often sleeping on chairs and rugs at event venues.
Despite her family’s concern, Nancy described herself as a fiercely independent teen. It was during this time that she met Yemi Alade through mutual friends and boldly asked her for shelter — a request Yemi graciously granted, helping Nancy through a trying period in her early hustle.
