Skit maker and singer Nasboi is overjoyed after finally getting noticed by Afrobeats star Davido. His heartfelt campaign — which involved kneeling in all 36 states of Nigeria to request a feature from the music icon — has paid off.
Since kicking off the journey in May, Nasboi faced doubt and ridicule from many on social media. Still, he stayed determined, sharing every step of his effort online. His dedication has now caught Davido’s attention.
In a recent post, Nasboi shared a comment from Davido that suggested a collaboration might be on the way. “Love the jam!! I got your soonest!! E go sup!!” Davido wrote, signaling a possible verse coming soon.
The message moved Nasboi deeply, and he didn’t hold back his emotions. “OBO make old man like me cry,” he responded. “God bless you. They laughed at me, but God didn’t let me end in shame. All the mocking will soon turn into celebration.”
He also extended his appreciation to his fans and supporters who stood by him during the campaign. “To everyone who supported me through these 36 days, may God come through for you too,” he wrote, full of gratitude and hope.
