Popular Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, widely known as Omah Lay, has reportedly survived a ghastly car accident in Lagos. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, involved two Tesla trucks said to be linked to the artiste.
News of the crash surfaced online after UK-based music executive, Adesope Olajide, also known as Shopsydoo, shared a video of the wrecked vehicles on Instagram. In his post, he wrote: “#Omahlay Tesla truck, thank God for life. Thank God he is safe, we go buy two more once that album drops. More stories to tell.”

While details of the accident remain sketchy, the trending video shows the two Tesla trucks badly damaged. As of the time of reporting, no official statement has been released by Omah Lay or his team.
Omah Lay, who rose to fame with hits like Bad Influence, Soso, and Understand, is one of Nigeria’s most streamed young artistes. He is currently working on a new studio project. Fans have since flooded social media with prayers and relief over his safety.
