Nigerian music legend, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has made headlines again, this time for proposing to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. A viral video circulating online captures the intimate moment when the singer presented a ring to Osawaru during a gathering, followed by cheers from those in attendance.
This proposal comes shortly after 2Baba publicly acknowledged his relationship with Osawaru, confirming speculations that had been circulating for weeks. His declaration followed his recent separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
Addressing concerns about the timeline of events, 2Baba clarified that Osawaru had no role in his marital issues, emphasizing her integrity and independence. “She is a brilliant and amazing woman. She had nothing to do with what is happening between Annie and me,” he stated.
Natasha Osawaru, who represents the Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, serves as the Deputy Majority Leader. She holds a law degree from Igbinedion University and furthered her education at the Parsons School of Design in New York.
