Actress and filmmaker Fathia Balogun has called out a blogger for pushing misleading stories about an alleged fallout between her and popular actress Funke Akindele.
The rumours surfaced shortly after Fathia celebrated her birthday on February 5. Funke had sent her a heartfelt birthday message, to which Fathia replied with the Yoruba phrase “Ose Iya Ibeji.” However, a blogger took the exchange out of context, claiming the response was cold and suggesting there was tension between the two women.
Reacting to the speculation, Fathia firmly denied any form of disagreement, stating that there is no animosity between her and Funke. She accused bloggers of deliberately stirring drama and fabricating narratives to attract attention online.
During a live video session, Fathia cautioned bloggers against meddling in her personal and professional relationships. She emphasised that Funke’s message was sincere and her reply had been wrongly interpreted, adding that not every interaction deserves negative assumptions.
