Former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola has revealed that President Bola Tinubu mentored both him and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over two decades ago. Speaking at the launch of the Omi Eko project on Saturday, Fashola recounted how Tinubu entrusted them with key responsibilities during their early years in public service, a move that helped shape their leadership journeys.

He praised Governor Sanwo-Olu and his administration for their recent developments in Lagos, particularly in water transportation, referencing projects like the E-One and Omi Eko initiatives. Fashola also commended the collaboration with the French Development Agency, describing them as excellent partners in Lagos State’s continuous drive toward innovation and sustainable infrastructure.
